I'm bloated. All you can eat durian feast and a huge-portioned seafood dinner only 2 hours apart.

Catch up

Met my old schoolmates yesterday. I have not seen them for over 2 years. Had an enjoyable day catching up with them and talking and gossiping like we used to.

Wedding Video

A couple lent us their wedding video which took place few months ago. OMG it was so out of trend. remember those wedding videos in the 80s and 90s? they filmed everything from the bridegroom's closet contents to every piece of jewellery presented to them. during the dinner reception, the videographer would go to every table and shoot in a circular motion while the guests would awkwardly pose and smile and give out peace signs as if they were on live TV but the video would always end up in the back of the drawer gathering dust until somebody finds it years later.

the one that I just watched was exactly like that with the same selection of shooting styles and background songs. LOL. memories flashed back.

now it's my first time watching midnight football.

Tonight (or last night since it's past 12am) we had a very enjoyable family party at home. everyone got together for nice food and good old laughs. had a chat with one of my relatives and found that he is now working in counter-terrorism. OMG i have always wanted to meet someone working in that field and I had a very insightful conversation with him. TOP SECRETS..lol

Got home at past midnight last night. Not a pleasant journey for me. My flight was delayed for 2 hours in Dubai where we had to sit in the plane in blistering hot dessert weather with semi functioning air-conditioning plus the fact that I had to carry an over 10kg handbag walking stupidly around the airport waiting for boarding gate to open. Next time I have to have a wheeled bag.

Anyhow, I'm very delighted that I'm finally home for my vacation. It's very comforting to see my family are well and happy. Whenever I reach my country and on the way back home from airport, all those sweet childhood loving feelings would come pouring into my heart and remind me who I am and where I belong. No matter how far and wide I go, I always belong here and it has a irreplaceable part in my heart.

We went to i-city just now. The lights show were quite fascinating but in my opinion it is a one-off thing. I would never visit the place again. It's just lights shaped in trees and animals. The excitement and novelty wear off after the first 3 pictures. In the end, we walked back to our car looking down at the walkway more than the light display. The accessibility of the place is awful. The parking is at an open gravel laden ground next to industrial looking buildings and the stairs were steep and uneven without any handles for elderly and disabled people. How could such a modern development with technology acclaimed status have such an unaccessible public attraction. It's a shame and I have to give it a thumb down.

decluttering things that are going into my luggage. unnecessary packaging is removed and size is minimised.

How am I going to stuff all the things I had bought into my luggage bag? I have 2 large capacity luggages that I used to use whenever I travel. The problem is those 2 luggages were used by my sister when she brought a staggering number of of things back home from her shopping trip when she visited me. Now I'm left with only one moderate-size luggage which I think only can fit half of my stuff in. What am I gonna do? I don't want to buy another new luggage.
