babysitting is so much fun. can't believe how intelligent she is. much much smarter than i thought of a 5yo and she is able to hold conversation like an adult. so interesting to see the world through children perspective, somewhat naive but completely honest and true. i'm starting to think that spending time with children can be more productive than you actually think.

Am I the only one?

I just slipped out of a Christmas eve gathering to post this. Felt like I was the only ordinarily normal person in the party. many were stoned and the rest caught up in pointless conversations. nothing engaging at all for me. either i'm too self-conscious or this proves i was the only one who didn't fit in.
